FUCT 20 Year Visual Exhibition at Union LA - RECAP
先週UNION LAにて開催されたFUCT２０周年エキシビジョンの写真が届きました。その一部を公開いたします。来年春にはFUCT初のアートブックをリリースするタイミングで、日本でもこのエキシビジョンを開催する計画が進行中です。９０年代初期から今日まで描かれた原画をこの目で確かめ、カルチャーを感じたいです。

FUCT 20TH ANNIVERSARY VISUAL EXHIBITION at UNION LOS ANGELES
今朝Erikのブログを見て、テンションが最高に上がりました。Pushead, Larry Clark, Wes Lang, Alexis Ross, Mr. Cartoonなどアート界の大御所たちが今までFUCTのために作った作品（未発表作品多数含め）を展示し、しかもFUCTをアメリカで初めて取扱った店舗UNIONでのエキシビジョンはとにかくやばいです。早速現地のカメラメンを手配し、木曜日のレセプションの模様を撮ってもらうことになりました。
Union Los Angeles is proud to present the FUCT 20 Year Visual Exhibition on Thursday October 27 2011 at 7pm. The exhibition will be held at Union (110 South La Brea Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90036).
Erik Brunetti defined rebelliousness for the Generation X of skate boarders and street wear consumers, through unconventional and often controversial designs and ad campaigns released under his brand name FUCT.
FUCT got it’s initial push shortly after it’s conception, when New York City’s UNION took notice to the brand and offered to become it’s exclusive US retailer. This was 1991.
FUCT is celebrating its 20 year anniversary with a visual exhibition presenting selected works (released and unreleased) by artists who contributed to the brands visuals: Erik Brunetti, Pushead, Larry Clark, Wes Lang, Alexis Ross, Mr. Cartoon and many more. We will post more photos as the pieces are installed into UNION. Below is a couple to have a look at. Many more pieces to view at the exhibition.

LAMFF X SSDD GOLDEN TIGER CAPSULE COLLECTION
A collaboration between LAMFF x SSDD a “Love Awareness Program” venture present – The “Golden Tiger” capsule collection consisting of authentic golden tiger stripe camouflage pant, hat and jacket. The clothing and camo pattern have been carefully reproduced and based on an original suit worn by a US SOG advisor during covert operations in Laos, Combodia and Vietnam in the early 1970′s . The pieces have been produced by an expert master tailor specializing in reproducing period military gear. LAMF x SSDD added some guidelines to slightly update the fits while keeping them true to it’s origin. All of the woven patches were hand made in an atelier in Hanoi. Tiger Stripe is considered to be one of the most coveted camo patterns around, especially this golden variation . “Golden Tiger” now available in store and online in extremely limited quantities.
